2023 Santa Barbara County Albariño

Albariño originates from Galicia in northern Spain.  It was brought to Santa Barbara County in the 90s by an incredible pioneer winemaker.  Since then, the variety has grown and flourished in our region. Aromatic, vibrant, and lively, but with depth and texture. This site is located in Santa Maria Valley, in the Tepusquet bench. These sandy soils and heavy marine layers are ideal for this cool climate variety.
